IDX Guard
IDX compliance monitoring for MLS boards and associations, and for the IDX providers that build agent and broker websites.
We are not affiliated with IDX Guard and earn nothing if you sign up. Everything below comes from idxguard.com, read on 3 November 2026. Check their site for current details.
What it does
- Checks IDX websites against a board's own rules, such as listing brokerage credit, required disclaimers and display requirements.
- Sends each potential issue to staff with the page URL, capture time, a screenshot and the rule it may break. Staff make the decision.
- Network Discovery searches for candidate sites outside a board's known website list.
- For providers: checks the client sites they build or maintain, shows whether an issue comes from a shared template, and rechecks after a fix.
What it doesn't claim
- It can't find every site using a board's listings. Search indexing, blocked pages and changing domains limit coverage.
- A flag isn't a confirmed violation. The board's team reviews the evidence.
- Monitoring doesn't guarantee compliance, and no fine revenue is promised.
